Yesterday was Lauren’s birthday. She’s one of my best friends and favorite people in the world and the least I could do was to pair up with Futernick in order to do her birthday right. A few of us surprised her in the morning with a breakfast feast and campfire and capped it all off with a journey to the LA Gun Club.
When we were picking our guns I asked for a rifle recommendation from an employee.
“Do you want something loud and nasty?”
I turned around to see Lauren with wide eyes and a smile. I had my answer.
“Ya the answer to that is always yes.”Here is a video of Lauren getting cold blooded with that mega-rifle.
The lesson I learned is this: surround yourself with kind, honest people who aren’t afraid to get loud and nasty - your life will be better for it.
I have the best friends in the world and when I said I didn’t want to do anything for my birthday they wouldn’t allow it. I was so happy to wake up to a group of wonderful people making breakfast and a bonfire at my house. It was exactly the kind of thing I love. We followed it up with some Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace and the LA Gun Club. I still can’t believe they gave 6 jackasses a sniper rifle with 50 rounds. I love you guys.
